Rocca Calascio è uno dei borghi più affascinanti d'Abruzzo, situato a 1.460 metri di altitudine nel Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso. La sua famosa fortezza medievale, abbandonata ma incredibilmente ben conservata, è una delle più alte d'Italia ed è un punto panoramico mozzafiato. Era da 2 anni che volevo visitare Rocca Calascio, con la sua fortezza che domina il paesaggio circostante. Finalmente, ci siamo svegliati alle 4 del mattino per salire al borgo e filmare l'alba. Le prime luci del sole che illuminano il castello e il Gran Sasso alle sue spalle hanno un'atmosfera unica e surreale. Spero che questo video riesca a trasmettere la bellezza e la pace che abbiamo vissuto in quel momento. Buona visione!

Rocca Calascio is one of the most fascinating villages in Abruzzo, located at 1,460 meters of altitude in the Gran Sasso National Park. Its famous medieval fortress, abandoned but incredibly well-preserved, is one of the highest in Italy and offers a breathtaking panoramic view. I had been wanting to visit Rocca Calascio for 2 years, with its fortress overlooking the surrounding landscape. Finally, we woke up at 4 in the morning to hike up to the village and capture the sunrise. The first light of the sun illuminating the castle and the Gran Sasso behind it creates a unique and surreal atmosphere.
